Popis

John Savage (mimo jiné Lovec jelenů a Kmotr) hraje duševně nemocného Alberta. Albert si odpykává dlouhý trest na jedné z nejtvrdších psychiatrických klinik poté, co chladnokrevně zabil Anniinu matku. Annie však zůstává posedlostí a stále se to zhoršuje. Naprosto šílený Albert myslí jen na jednu věc: SVOU malou Annie. Ředitel kliniky (Dr. Sachs) se marně snaží Alberta nepropustit, ale stát určí, že si trest odpykal a Albert okamžitě začne pátrat po své Annie, dnes 32leté. Jako posedlý navštíví všechny Annie, které najde z telefonního seznamu, a když se ukáže, že to není jeho Annie, zabije nevinné ženy. Nakonec najde svou malou Annie, ale Albert je tak rozhořčen, že z jeho malé Annie je nyní dospělá nezávislá žena, že ji také zabije a unese její neteř. Policie je mu nyní na stopě a začíná nebezpečná a zajímavá psychologická hra mezi Albertem na jedné straně a policií a doktorkou Sachsovou na straně druhé.
